Willow Software, a leader in embedded systems, electronic card design, and production at Muğla Teknopark, achieved its first export to the United States. The export, a high-tech device software enabling secure, wireless communication for industrial devices, supports critical applications in defense, aerospace, and medical industries. Led by Co-Founder/Software Engineer Eren Baştürk, Software Developer Mikail Akta, Embedded Systems Developer Emre Kasap, and Software Developer Mehmet Can Onat, this achievement also represents Muğla Teknopark’s first export.
The agreement was signed with BiPOM Electronics, a U.S.-based company. Eren Baştürk and BiPOM founder Oğuz Murtezaoğlu met with Muğla Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MUTSO) Board President and Muğla Teknopark Vice Chairman Mustafa Ercan to discuss the deal and explore future collaborations. Ercan stated, “Since 2016, Muğla Teknopark A.Ş., founded by 52 partners including private sector, chambers, municipalities, and NGOs, has begun yielding results. Exporting advanced software to a technology powerhouse like the U.S. is a source of pride. Willow Software’s additional deal to export 500 modems and software to Israel highlights the growing impact of our Teknopark firms on Turkey’s innovation landscape.” This milestone affirms Willow Software’s expertise in Industrial IoT (IIoT) and Muğla Teknopark’s role as a hub for technological advancement.
